1. Acceptance
By using Checkout Monitor, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Checkout Monitor is an automated WooCommerce checkout testing service. It runs periodic tests on your store's checkout flow and alerts you when issues are detected. We are not affiliated with WooCommerce, WordPress, or Automattic.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Abuse the API rate limits or attempt to overwhelm the service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the service's source code
- Use the service to test stores you do not own or have permission to test
5. Pricing and Payment
Free plan: 1 store, daily tests, email alerts. Pro plan: $3/store/month, hourly tests, WhatsApp + email alerts, multi-store dashboard. Payments are processed by Paystack. All prices are in USD (converted to local currency at checkout). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time. Free plan accounts can be deleted at any time.
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses caused by service downtime, missed alerts, or false positives. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Checkout Monitor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Intellectual Property
The service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Checkout Monitor. You retain ownership of your store data. We claim no ownership over your WooCommerce stores or their content.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
