1. What We Collect

When you use Checkout Monitor, we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, and WhatsApp number (if provided)
  • Store information: store names, URLs, and API keys for monitoring
  • Monitoring data: checkout test results, response times, and error logs
  • Payment information: payment references and transaction status (processed by Paystack — we never store card details)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Run automated checkout tests on your WooCommerce stores
  • Send you WhatsApp and email alerts when your checkout breaks
  • Display monitoring results in your dashboard
  • Process payments for Pro plan subscriptions
  • Communicate with you about your account or service updates

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

  • Supabase: database hosting (your data is encrypted at rest)
  • Resend: transactional email delivery
  • Blueticks: WhatsApp message delivery
  • Paystack: payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • Vercel: application hosting

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and cannot use it for other purposes.

4. Data Retention

Free plan: test results are retained for 7 days. Pro plan: 90 days. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data storage, secure API authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your data at any time from your dashboard settings. For account deletion, contact us at support@checkoutmonitor.site.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
